Allie Tyler is a heavily sought after vocal artist, writer, and instructor who believes whole heartedly in the sanctity of music as a whole, rather than identifying as an artist with a specific genre. She has gained recognition in her popular and jazz vocal demonstrations and is continually hired for professional engagements across the country, including the Denver metropolitan area, Orange County, Los Angeles, and the East Coast. She has performed as both a soloist and a professional soprano choral section leader at the Chatauqua Performing Arts Center, Hollywood Bowl, Pantages Theatre, HondaCenter, Dolby Theatre, Staple Center, Verizon Amphitheatre, and Segerstrom Performing Arts Center. She has been praised by well renowned operatic and contemporary composers, such as Jake Heggie, Kirke Mechem and Gwyneth Walker, and has been commented on possessing “very true pitch, excellent tempi, true understanding of music, and wonderful dramatic expression.
Allie received her Master's in Music from USC with a split emphasis in classical and popular vocal arts and her Bachelor's in Music from Cal State Fullerton in Vocal Performance. She has taught private voice and piano lessons for 10 years and has had over 300 private students.
Along with her performing and teaching career, Allie runs The Marketed Musician - an online marketing business that teaches and develops classical musicians' branding and marketing strategies. After taking a year off to travel in her camper van, Allie and her husband now reside in Golden, Colorado.
